Request a new Social Security card or cards, which change the name. Call the Social Security Administration at (800) 772-1213 for forms and instructions.

Visit the department of motor vehicles for a new license. Take the marriage license and SSCard. Change your name on the vehicle registration, insurance and mortgage companies, and its loyalty program.

Obtain and complete Passport Amendment / Validation Application.

Replacements-checks, business cards, credit cards and other documents that contain your old name.

Employers call and schools (if you're a student), so they'll know that your new name.

You do not go to court. You should take your marriage license and social security and change and modify the MVA, and also have your marriage certificate with. Remember to change jobs and let the creditors know nothing has changed. You can access your account.

You need your marriage certificate and license for social insurance, DMV offices and banks and fill in all the documents they have.
Congratulations!
